Work is starting in factory 1 to prepare and strengthen the floor for our tower extension.

3 years after the install of our 10KW Bystronic laser with automated tower system, Midtherm Laser has invested further to extend the existing tower. The extension will house up to 180 tonnes of additional material allowing for new cutting potential, new machines and company growth. With laser technology advancing regularly, changes are constantly made to keep up with the needs of our customers and to remain competitive.

Work digging the floor ready for the strengthening was completed at the end of February with little disruption to the production of the machines. The tower extension is expected later this year and will increase the capacity of our 10KW machine and allow for additional machines at a later date.
