Laser cutting to Celebrate with Style
Celebrating the Kings Coronation here at Midtherm Laser in our own style. We have been busy cutting some special panels from 2mm Aluminium to display on our fences. All of the artwork detail has been taken from the official Coronation logo. This has been carefully tagged specifically for each flower & leaf so the detail doesn’t fall out when cut. This has retained the intricacy of the design although has taken some time.

Some photos using our 12KW Bystronic fiber laser to cut the intricate panels. The fiber technology cuts through the aluminium with ease. Using aluminium, a lightweight material, enables larger panels to be cut without any weight issues.
Finishing Touches
After cutting, the panels then went to our sister company, Midtherm Powder Coating, to be painted before mounting together on display. However, there are 2 colours on the background panel. The pattern was carefully traced then masked off after the blue was added ready for the next colour.

The front panel was powder coated white to create the finished panel. These will be displayed on our fences here and also at Midtherm Powder Coating and Midtherm Flues so we can all continue celebrating the Kings Coronation.

We absolutely love working on projects like these. We often use our gates as a canvas for artistic laser work, including our own Midtherm Laser Limited corporate signage made in house. During Halloween and Christmas you may see other work when driving past. We also get involved in decorative work in and around the Dudley area with projects down the Dudley Canal and at the zoo. Please get in touch if you have a project you need some laser cutting and forming on.
