Well Done to the Lads for Completing Their Challenge!!
Welcome to our fundraising page for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Prostate Cancer UK. Gavin, Rhys and Anthony completed their challenge to walk, cycle or run 62 miles in October. In addition, a few Sunday night football matches added some extra competition – read on to see who came out on top!

Gavin started and ended his 62 miles challenge with a walk with his mom. Despite a tough ride in week 2, he also completed a 12.5 mile bike ride with Anthony.
Anthony has done all of his miles on his bike and has enjoyed the company of his team mates on a couple of them.
Rhys moved house during the final week, so he struggled to complete all his miles. However, we will let him off, as he plans to finish his last few miles over the next few days.
A Note from Gavin, Anthony & Rhys.
“A massive thank you to everyone who donated, supported and encouraged us throughout this years fundraising. Its been harder than expected to fit in the miles but we have done it!”
The red team also won the football tournament winning 12-7 with Anthony Lewis being the ‘Player of the Tournament’.

Thanks to everyone’s incredible support, all donations totalled just over £1,500 which is amazing! In addition, a massive thank you goes to everyone who donated prizes for the football tournament. Your generosity made the event even more special. Also thanks to Warley Rugby Club who discounted the pitch fees. The prize draw was done on the random name picker wheel, excluding those who donated anonymously.

Week 3 progress!
The October Charity Challenge update.
Gavin has upped his miles this week on a ‘longer than planned’ bike ride. Feeling good at 10 miles, he decided to add a few more miles, but regretted the decision by the time he reached Kinver – and cant we tell!!??!!
Anthony did another bike ride and is now at 45 miles in total.
Rhys may have only upped his total by 6 miles this week but is leading the fund raising.
There was a highly debated and controversial end to the week with regards to the football results too….after an ‘equaliser’ came 15 mins after the playing time and 2 red players off the pitch. However, it has been agreed that next week is a winner takes all match! Lets see who finishes on top!

Rhys walked 5 1/2 miles.

Rhys is 7 miles in but with that dog close behind, he will be upping the distance this week!
